Last night we had short massages and Shannon and I were able to pray over those who were in The Cave.  I feel closer to God more than ever when I have the opportunity to pray over you or even pray for you when you are unaware.  There were tears, laughter, nervousness, and even relief! My hope is that you take time to practice these prayer techniques: The Centering prayer, the prayer of discernment, and doing your own guided imagery.  You can do these things in your room or somewhere private.  Allow yourself to hear the voice of God calling your name..allow yourself to becomerecentered in your faith.  Praying over you all was an honor, and  I hope for you that you were able to draw closer to the love of Christ.  As we enter the summer, with Mission trips, camps, and of course family vacations, it is important that we remember to turn our hearts to God.  Asking God to work through us on our trips, no matter where we are going.  Ask God into your time with your family, friends, and of course those things that challenge us.  James 4:8  Draw close to God and God draws close.
