Lately, I have been reflecting on the past year and all of the changes that I have seen over that year. In the past year, I have lost two loved ones that were very close to me. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about them but I know that they are way happier where they are right now. I look at the change in the lifestyle that I have had. A short year ago I was a Senior at Blue Valley West and now I am a Freshman at the University of Kansas. I have changed my major quite a few times and just a few weeks ago finally settled on the one to pursue. I have had to unfortunatley gomy seperate ways with friends that I have known for a very long time. A lot has changed in the past year.
I look at all that has changed and I can not believe it. The truth is that when change happens it can be very easy to look at all of the negative things that can come along with it. But the truth is that there is a purpose behind this all. No matter what happens, you have to remember that it is part of God's plan. While things maybe difficult and at times stressful, you have to remember that in these moments, God is shapping and working in your life. Most importantly always remember that all of this is God shapping you into the person that he has created you to be. So, while change can look bad at times and can be hard to deal with, that is the moment that you need to stop and remember that God is working in that moment. Most importantly, prayer is the greatest thing that you can do. Pray that you allow Him towork in your life and ask that you remember that you are not in control but rather he is. Pray for peace in your life and that you may be a light for Christ no matter what change occurs around you. I hope that you guys have an awesome week!!! I am always here for you guys!
In Christ,
Your Jayhawk on the Hill
