Go ahead, try it. Enter your own birthday in the calendar. Go to the month and date of your birthday and click add in the top menu or click on the plus sign on the day itself in the upper right corner. Once your event is submitted, it will be reviewed and approved.
Keep the year you were born and your age private! You must be logged in to see birthdays.

Everyone will be able to see it and search for your name. You can sort all the events by categories so if you sort by Birthday that makes it easy for everybody to see whose birthday is coming up next. You can also search by someone's name.
